So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.
As an example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act.
Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

SECTION 8 – MARKETING AND ADVERTISING
We advertise our products on third-party platforms, including advertising networks operated by Google and other providers. To make that advertising more relevant and to measure how it performs, we share certain personal information about our customers with those platforms so that they can provide advertising services on our behalf.
What we share
The customer information we may share for this purpose includes your email address, phone number, first and last name, country and ZIP/postal code. Before this information is shared, it is converted into an irreversible code (a “hash”) so that the platform cannot read the underlying details. The platform uses this code only to check whether it matches an existing account on its system.
Why we share it
We share this information so that these platforms can, on our behalf: show our ads to you or to people with similar interests; avoid showing you ads for products you have already bought; and measure how many people who saw our ads went on to visit our store or place an order.
These platforms act as our service providers for this purpose and are contractually required to use the information only to provide these advertising services to us, and not to sell it or use it for their own unrelated purposes.
In particular, we use Google Ads, including its Customer Match feature, to show ads for our products to our existing customers and to people with similar interests, and to measure the results of those ads. For more information on Google’s privacy practices, please visit https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en
How to opt out
You can ask us to stop using your information for advertising purposes at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Please include the email address you used when placing your order so that we can identify your records. We will remove your information from our advertising audiences.
You can also control personalised advertising directly with the platforms: Google at https://myadcenter.google.com/ and https://adssettings.google.com/; the Network Advertising Initiative at https://optout.networkadvertising.org/; and the Digital Advertising Alliance at https://optout.aboutads.info/. Opting out of personalised advertising does not mean you will stop seeing ads from us; it means the ads you see will be less relevant to you.
If you receive marketing emails from us, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any such email, or by contacting us at [email protected]. This does not affect service emails about an order you have placed.
How long we keep it
We keep your personal information for as long as your customer relationship with us is active, and afterwards for as long as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Information used for advertising audiences is refreshed periodically and removed when it is no longer current or when you ask us to stop using it for that purpose.
SECTION 9 – CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.
If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
